10th June 2009

Two of my hedgerow favourites are now in flower. The deliciously scented Honeysuckle (Lonicera periclynum). Which will now gather in strength as the Summer goes on until the space between the hedges is rich with the heady scent.

While the delicate Wild Rose (Rosa canina),  blooms and needs to be approached up close to catch the light slightly fruity scent that it gives off.
