Nuts and berries are starting to form in the hedges now. Hazel nuts (Corylus avellana) are becoming fat and plump.

Blackberries (Rubus fruticosus) are just starting to begin to form. It looks as if it is going to be a good year for these delicious berries.

Dryly sour Sloes (Prunus spinosus) are still green.

Hawthorn berries or Haws (Crataegus monogyna) are showing in abundance, which means plenty of food for birds in the Winter.
