17th October 2009

A really bright start. The air temperature has dropped though and it feels really cool and fresh. Clear blue sky overhead with a promise of a lovely sunny day.

Filipendula ulmaria, meadowsweet, meadowsweet flowering Tucked into the corner where sun warms the rocky sides of the bank, one lone Meadowsweet plant (Filipendula ulmaria) flowers late.
