4th October 2009

The Braken (Pteridium aquilinum) is now starting to turn in colour. Although a bit of an invasive pest, you have to admire the Autumn (Fall) colours. Lovely yellows, rich browns all in varied shades according to the time, place or position it grows in.

Rose hips have ripened to rich reds, not quite perfect yet for the birds to start eating.
