A Badger has been searching for worms in the wet cool soil of the grass in the centre of the track. Known as a Badger scrape, many scrapes can be seen around especially at this time of the year as they hunt for worms. It is an important time of year when a badger needs to build a good reservoir of fat to help it get through the Winter when times are thin in the way of food.
