A clearing sky with lots of blue, inhabited by drifting white clouds. The rain cleared much earlier on leaving the ground wet and sopping.
Betony (Stachys officinalis) flowers in the banks of the hedges. It was once regarded as an extremely useful herb capable of curing 47 diseases.
